If you are at LAX, head over to beverly hills and have lunch/wonder around... Porsche Design store, etc over on Via Rodeo. Lots of nice watch boutiques and some good little restaraunts on Canon/Rodeo/Little Wilshire.

Great Bar at the Pennensula Hotel on little Wilshire as well.

I'm at LAX at one of the Sheritons. I was at Crowne Plaza last night and missed my flight this morning due to some confusion. This sounds fun, I'd like to just get out and enjoy myself. I'm on 98th and airport i think? That sound right? How should I get to via Rodea from here? I'm completely lost in LA.

There is virtually no public transit in LA. And what is there sucks....


Just tell them to drop you off at Rodeo and Wilshire. You will then be standing on Rodeo (only a few blocks long), but the streets to the right/left running parallel to Rodeo have some good stuff on them too. Via Rodeo is a small pedestrian foot path. You can access it from Rodeo Drive.

haha u know i'm not a hooker guy. I've never been with one, I dunno maybe I just don't need to? haha. Well, in any case, as a korean guy that isn't around many asian people I can definitely say there are lots of cute asian girls here. Anyone got any information on where, 'those flock'? I'd like to flock a couple to my hotel room.

I don't know where korea town is although I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find. I'm an asian guy who grew up around white people only so I think i'd feel a bit awkward at first haha. lol don't go to rodeo for lunch. if you still go there to check out the stores (porsche design store is pretty cool), go to beverly drive (which is 2 streets over) and find something to eat there. i would say go to melrose and walk around and if youre really into cars, you can go to the peterson automotive museum (its 5 minutes away from melrose). if youre staying at night, you could go to sunset or a club but since youre not with any friends you might be bored...oh and check out k-town.

I saw the porsche design store, nothing but bags and shades. I left pretty quickly. I walked up rodeo and I was hungry. I think they only thing there is just designer shops. I did walk over to beverly and I ate at sharky's and had a coffee at starbucks across the street. From there I went to venice beach for a couple hours, walked the pier and the beach a bit. After that, I went to hollywood blvd, walked both sides of the street pretty far down. Ate at the green room, boca burger and two coronas. Walked down to sunset and walked up that all the way to past crescent quite a ways to a starbucks where I had another coffee, and walked until I saw the next cab and now I'm back at the sheriton by LAX. How did I do for being alone and one day? It took me about 10 hours to do all that.

Didn't see korea town but I feel a little intimidated going there alone at 9pm haha. I'm such a bad korean also.

Went to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Hollywood. I skimmed the highlights and then went home. Took me 10 hours and I feel I missed a lot. I'm thinking about driving there in a few weeks. Anyone else with a 335i/e9x/e8x wanna kick it and hit some cool non-touristy hot spots?
