Fastest Speeding Ticket

So what is the fastest speeding ticket you got on your M?
My friend was going 165 to find out what the speed limiter is because he passed 155 earlier. Police told him his cruiser was going 150 to keep up with him and wrote him a ticket for 130+mph at 3am in the morning

$130? That's it?

EDIT: Oops never mind, though you meant dollars.

Anything 20mph or more over the speed limit in CA is an arrestable offense. It is up to the citing officer to interpret said law as they see fit; I'm sure if he had been weaving in and out of traffic and was putting other motorists' lives in jeopardy the CHP may have arrested him. I remember when I was like 17, I was stopped for doing 124 in a 65 and the only other person on the stretch of road (besides the CHP that caught me) was my buddy who was 2 lanes over.

As soon as I saw the lights I immediately pulled over, turned on my interior lights, removed the keys put em on the dash and put my hands in clear sight on the steering wheel and had my license, insurance and registration out. Officer came over and reminded me that I was going 124 mph, and I answered all of his questions politely...he told me because he didn't have to chase me, and because I was not being a little punk that he knocked down the mph on my ticket. He wrote me up for 84 mph "so that you do not have to face the fine that would have come along with a misdameanor."

So, I guess it is just really up to the discretion of the officer?

No tickets yet, thanks to my Laser Interceptor... totally worth the money (since they use 100% laser around here). Why?...

Anything over 80mph in my state automatically is considered "racing" and qualifies you for automatic license revocation. How's that for B.S.?

The fastest I ever got ticketed for was 17 over. Something like 62 in a 45 on a deserted 4 lane road at 1am.

Fastest I've ever gone? 110 in a 70 to catch up and get the plates off this moron who nearly ran me off the road so I could report him to FHP. Didn't make it right, but I was having a really bad fit of road rage.
