i love james bond movies. but i don't like this new bond at all. What was wrong with pierce brosnan? I remember when they were taking polls years ago on who would be the best new bond, and I knew Brosnan was the obvious choice with his irish (close enuff to english) accent and looks.
I think bond should be dark haired, i never cared for roger moore, i think brosnan and connery was the best. and this guy has the fade haircut, doesn't give the impression of class to me.

Brosnan was the ideal Bond, IMO, for the look and the suave demeanor. But this new bond looks like he can do the physical stuff better. I don't know how much of that is the editing, but it would make it more entertaining in terms of an action movie.

wow that girl in the movie is foxy!!!! so hot!!!
I saw this video in PoliSci class and it said that spies are supposed to be very undercover which means that in real life James Bond would make a very very bad spy. lol |

This Bond looks too damn serious. I'm used to the suave, cool, smart alek with the word puns and witicisms. Even Triple-X (Vin Diesel as xXx, not Barbara Bach) seemed better at that role. Bond is about smarts, intelligence and cool resourcefulness, not just looks and strength.

I think it looks amazing.
I'm looking forward to the new Bond. Can't be worse than George Lazenby or Timmothy Dalton. I loved Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me. It was the very first Bond movie I saw as a kid. Connery IS Bond. Brosnan has some real great moments as Bond, but the last one was just terrible. The new Bond looks very dark, which is the books were written. I'm hoping for a "Batman Begins" feel brought to the Bond series. If they make it dark, and gritty, which it looks like they have, it will be a real winner. It has been WAY too light for years. Also, I am so glad they went back to the Aston Martin... Bond would never be caught dead driving a German car. No offense BMW.

Brosnan himself was good. I think the last few had really bad scripts, but no fault of Brosnan. Goldeneye was excellent I thought.
Dalton was horrible, as was Lazenby. They don't have the slickness. Bond is eternal cool though, I remember seeing Golden Eye on cable a couple weeks ago, and after every scene running, fighting, etc. Pierce Brosnan's hair and clothes were perfectly intact. Hehehe. I'm not gonna lie, thats a good looking dude. Mr. Silver: he drove a 7 series in The World is not Enough I believe...

You're correct, I think it was a Z3 actually. Baby blue if I recall.
