BENZ 230 sport sedan!
Just got back from a test drive! I have to say its a pretty nice car, its defintly better than the cadillac Cts..I like how it has the same options as our cars..They are basically the same thing just different designs etc..
we may be going back to purchase it for my wife in the next week or so. Thinking we can get it for 30K..the sticker is 33,899 and they said 2500 off at the moment and Im sure CAsh will make the deal even better so im thinking theyll take 30K AM i outside my mind or should I ask for more off Anyone have any experience with MERCEDES...They have the 4year50k warranty just like Bmw so thats a definit plus in my book?????

FYI dealers are as happy if not more happy to sell financing/leases on cars. It's cash to them either way, they aren't the ones that carry the note.

ty, my buddy's gf drives a c230 kompressor coupe, not bad..that thing is agile
i've driven the c230 sport sedan for a few days and its okay, i still prefer the 3 thats why i bought it here's why: little price gap with huge performance gap and i hate benz's standard options..every little thing is a pricey option for benz for that price though, why not fork up a few more thousands and get the 3? husband and wife 3s

i got to drive it when my mom's e500 was in for service... its pretty fun... but i would prefer the c55... i hope MB improves its performance game... cause its a bit lacking these days.

I would never buy one because I hated the manual tranny when I test drove it along with the floor brake. I also wouldn't buy it because it's been out forever and will be dated soon when the new models come out.

c230k ss with amg body kit is actually a veryy good looking car... it even looks better then current e90 sedan in my opinion... i was thinking of getting it, all it needs is a drop and some nice 19's and it'll look amazing...
im just waiting to see what e92 looks like in real life |

I used to driva a C32 AMG, but it is not the same as BMW. I like our cars better for some reason it handles better eventhough the C32 has more Horses. The warranty i think is only for parts. It does not come with service warranty so you gonna have to pay for service each time. Correct me if I'm wrong. I would consider buying an Audi A4 instead man. Thats my suggestion. The A4 with S-line package looks pretty nice if I can buy another car right now for that price I wobuy uld the Audi A4. Take a look around first before yo make your decision and plus I think the c class are assembled in the U.S. now if im not wrong. Thats what my friend told me. He collects Mercedes-Benz and we always argue about whether bimmer or benz is better.

Not to be rude dude, but I think your response was totally uncalled for. Even though I am a new member here, what I have picked up is that Nikki can drive a stick, and as a matter of fact, she owns a MT 330i. And as for the comment about the C-class being redesigned, it is! I believe the 07's are going to be the last year with the current body style. The next one is going to have a design similar to the new S-class. Anywho, just like Nikki said, MBZ doesn't really make great MT's but their AT's are another story. Why do you think almost every single MBZ is an auto, including the SLR? The C-class is a nice car, but it is different from the 3-series. When I drove the 3-series, it felt much sportier thanks to the handling and engine. But the C-class felt more luxurious and smooth. It all depends on what your wife is looking for. I would take a C-class anyday over a CTS! The interior in the CTS is just fugly... |

Yep...the W203 will be replaced by the W204 by MY2008 (spy impression pic below) or so...pricing/incentives on W203 reflects that to some degree. Great deals can be had on the W203, was just looking at a few with a colleague.
The W203 C230 is a pretty car with some nice standard features like the AMG kit, the 17" wheels, cross-drilled brakes and pedals etc, at the market rate, its a value proposition as well. The body feels taut and the interior space is satisfactory. This car was on my short list. I have not driven the MT but I hear for MY06 onwards, the linkage was improved... However in comparison to the e90 325i, the new 2.5 V6 (at 201hp) is rather gutless and its pairing with the 7G-tronic auto makes for busy shifts. Also, there are reliability issues. Dynamically, the e90 still trumps the W203 in steering feel and handling balance. At the end of the day, you can't really go wrong with the car, it is a fine car in itself. Good luck with your car shopping...
