Awesome, thanks. Going to be hard to wait on the V8 when the N54 should be available at launch.

Anyone else think this is the best looking BMW to be made in the last one or two generation of bimmers? Penned by a female designer. :w00t:

I think it looks good and I don't even particularly care for the current model.

Scowering the web says the same thing. I've never seen so much BMW haters saying it looks HOT.

Looks good, but I STILL don't understand the fascination with the hard top convertible thing. The softtops nowadays are very well engineered. Having a heavy, unsightly (with the folding crease lines) and prone to failure many moving parts, not to mention expensive hard top just doesn't make sense to me on a roadster.

If only the version with the n54 was as light as the 135i I'd be putting an order in asap!

Or actually, is the 3,500 poudn weight for the convertible? If they have a coupe version then would that probably be similar in weight to the 135i?

There won't be a coupe version. The car is a hardtop convert.

seen this in person already (can't divulge too much info as I don't want anyone in trouble) but lets just say the car MOVES & looks great! 135i is more my taste, but the new Z is definitely going to sell

Lucky you! I have a feeling its going to be a little faster than the 135i despite the curb weight differences. BMW has secret ways of doing this. Just watch people. Too bad this one is going to be $$$$.
