iDrive bug report
Where do we submit bug reports for iDrive?
When issuing voice commands, the system mistakes the "left passenger window" for the driver window (on the right) - my car being a right-hand drive model. Yet, "driver window" correctly identifies the right (pun intended) window. The system correctly identifies the front passenger window (on the left) when it is described as "passenger window" or "front passenger window". It's a minor annoyance but would be good to get it corrected in a future update. |

I would also be curious of this. I have one or two. I have the well known "sync" issue whereby the AC sync falls off every time you start the car.
I am also seeing an issue that affected me over the Xmas driving period twice whereby you ask voice to find you an intermediate destination (such as an Ionity BMW plug and charge charger I knew was in the area) and add it to the route, the car confirms this is ok and has happened and it shows up as a little flag on the route overview but then the navigation directions don't actually take you to it when you are near and you end up sailing past on the motorway.... |

What if you said “front left” or “front right” window instead? Maybe that would be less ambiguous over LHD/RHD.

Tried front left and front right and it works properly.
So only "left passenger" confuses it. |
