Hey everybody, I’m just wondering what you all are using for a phone mount. I’m used to using air vent mounts in my previous bimmers, but given the hidden design of the vents with the new 5 series, I am unsure of what direction to go. Any recommendations? (preferably with MagSafe)

Sorry, I just place my phone on the charging tray.

However, I remember seeing a thread about phone mounts. Make sure you search the forum here for past posts in that thread.

I bought this one on Amazon, and I love it because it auto clamps, can be rotated vertical or horizontal, and charges the phone as well. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, but I installed it with a USB-C to USB-C. It does take up a cup holder, so I plugged into the USB-C by the assigned holder:

But I saw this one on Amazon yesterday:

It does clamp on the air vent, but does not charge the phone, and does not auto-clamp.

There are air vents on the G60, they are narrow though. Looks like you can mount to them

This one extends so I mounted to the on dashboard on the left side behind the steering wheel and the phone is within reach yet doesnt block front view
