TopicNew BMW Delivery Tips: Checklist and Common Issues
Hello everyone!
First of all, congratulations to everyone who has already received their new cars! 🎉 And to those still waiting—may your delivery day come soon and be smooth. I’m reaching out to ask for your advice and experience. What does your checklist look like when receiving a new i5? Are there any common issues or things to watch out for during the handover process? Would love to hear your tips, plans, or anything you’d recommend checking. Let’s share and help each other out! Looking forward to your insights. Thanks in advance! |

These are probably not wide-spread issues worthy of checking on delivery, but they are the only two things I found wrong with my i5 when I took delivery. They are as follows (and I didn't notice either of them until later, and went back to have them fixed under warranty).

One thing mentioned by another owner was to check the windshield glass for scratches. They had a vehicle that sat at the port for a long time and clearly, someone turned them on while it was caked with mud, dirt and debris.
