Went on BYO to configure an i5 M60 and nowhere does it mention rear-wheel steering. Not as standard or as optional. Having always found the turning circle in my G30 too large, I would hate to park a car that’s even longer without RWS. Thanks…

Yes the m60 has RWS standard but not the active roll stability

This. Confirmed mine by looking in the mirrors when maneuvering a low speed. It’s a really great addition.

They call the system Integral Active Steering (IAS). Right from page 213 in the owner's manual:

IAS combines the variable steering gear ratio of the front axle with active rear-wheel steering.
The rear axle steering acts to increase maneuverability at low speeds by turning the rear wheels slightly in the opposite direction to the front wheels.
At higher speeds, the rear wheels are turned in the same direction as the front wheels. For instance, this results in a harmonious lane change.
In critical driving situations, integral active steering can stabilize the vehicle by automatically steering the rear wheels, for example e.g. when oversteering.

Standard on the M60, and not available on the eDrive40. I believe it will be available though on the 2025 xDrive40. I guess you need to have all-wheel drive for this system to work. I was disappointed when I learned that it was not going to be on my eDrive40, but the car still turns way better than my old truck, so I can't complain too much.
