BMW i5 Remote Parking

I have a new BMW i5 M60. I am not seeing the remote parking feature, the ability to record a maneuver and my automatic parking feature comes up but never “sees” a spot. I had an IX and have a X5 that has these features. Does the i5 have these features? I purchased all the upgrades you could. I have the highway assistant plus and it works.

I don’t think there is a remote parking feature. There is an auto parking.

if you have the premium or executive package, then your car is equipped with parking assitance plus. you can then go to the connectdrive store to purchase the parking assistance pro package. there is a 3 month free trial for free or you can pay it one-off at $220. ths pro package will give you the remote parking function.

you have to set digital key plus in order to get ir running on your app

On another related topic...Can you change the climate setting from the app? Or just "turn the car on" to the last temperature setting from the last time you used the car?

I was curious as I know the Tesla app lets you actually set the temp of the car to whatever you want remotely.

in Canada parking assistance pro package is included in the premium package, but in the US only the parking assistance plus package is included.

the pro package includes the remote control.

No, I don’t think you can adjust the temp with mybmw

Took delivery today.. no remote parking option available on my BMW app... My rear seating don't have the led screen to control temperature either.. just two buttons for seat heater..

Did you purchase the Parking Assistant Pro in connected drive store? I just picked my US model today and it did not pop up until I purchased that for $222.

It takes a few days after purchase (trial or permanent feature) for the car to activate the functionality. Just tested it a few moment ago and it works great!

Just got the I5 delivery however do not even have the option to purchase the add on. Is that only me?

Yes, known issue. There's a version of software the dealer can install or wait till the May OTA update.
