Looks Beastly..........I like it. And as usual it's another car the US won't get.

I think it looks good. Pretty aggressive, especially for Toyota. This is a welcome change and a departure from their typically bland offerings.

Now, if they would just provide an alternate drivetrain besides FWD.

Have you driven the old IS300? A tidy handling little car, I bought my old 2002 MT IS300 over the flaccid E46's of the day.

The old MR2's were fun.

Toyota CAN make a good handling car--they just choose to make plain-vanilla boredom at the moment. I guess its working for them, tho I sure hope the "committee for interesting cars" pans out.

I wanted a supra for a long time before I bought my BMW. I shopped and could have got a great deal on a 96 turbo, but I turned it down after thinking about it long and hard.

Reason: I didnt want every single jerkoff in every boy racer car on the road trying to jack with me continually. Years later I see supras on the road, but I'm glad I never got one because I think to myself "its a nice car. too bad its a ricer..." and I go on down the road.

I agree, Vornado. I absolutely LOVED driving my old Integra Type R... But it attracted way too much (of the wrong) attention.

I much prefer a "sleeper."

"The engine has been developed by Eaton and is mated with a six-speed automatic. The TRD Aurion is aimed at the car enthusiast....."

FWD, auto-only.. Apparently not!

Just like the new VW .:R32. DSG only. Yeah it performs better than a manual tranny flat-out. But it's boring and sucka

Its a sad reality the world is coming to. Next cars will drive for you, and your car driving robot will be your enthusiast high performance droid.

im sorry but i dont understand why you would think that a supra is "rice" what makes it "rice"? is it that fact that its japanese? or that you dont completely understand why there is so much hype? i see the word "rice" thrown around here and other bmw forums, where the term is wrongfully used..

Toyota = crap is what americans think???? Sure, thats why everytime you look down the road you see a Toyota Camry, Corolla, Tundra, or Tacoma going down the street. They build quality cars that last. My sister put 200,000 miles + in her 1996 camry and it didnt see a problem.

Also I dont understand that "supra is a ricer" comment from Vorando either.

The Supra was a world class car in every way, not a ricer at all.

Vornado doesn't know what he's talking about.

All the ones I've seen have been riced out by little punks.

I didnt mean to hurt all your low-fat feelings, I should have brought up the subject of abortion instead.
