P90X Workout

I just saw a guy whom I have worked with three years ago. At first, I did not recongize him at all even after he introduced himself. I just thought that he was another guy with the same name. Then he said that he thinks he might have met me before. LOL. It turns out, he got divorce with his wife (wife left him)two years ago and started the P90X workout, lost 30 pounds and he was featured in the informercial. I always thought those workout videos are a rip-off, but I guess it is not always true. He is in a really good sharp; capable of doing like 36 pull-ups etc.

He even tattooed the P90X logo on his chest. My reaction was "So...do they take visa?"

yeah, i have heard of it before... P90X stands for Power 90 Extreme Workout.

its 3 months of killing yourself everyday. The workouts you do everyday are not slow burns, they are really hard on you. It's a max out type thing. Some people don't even qualify to be fit enough to take P90X and have to just do P90.

I'm going to start it in February, I think, haha

that program is HARDCORE. You must be in decent sharp to start with. If you over 25+ lbs and don't exercise much, it will kill you. lol

i downloaded it and shit its hard. Like its been said, its a fast paced workout, with little rest. Goal is to keep you heart rate up. If you can do it more power to you, gave up after a week. One of the main reasons is that i dont like to work out at home, i prefer going to the gym, so i have watched the videos and actually do some of the exercises at gym instead. I recommend it if you looking for a really good work out. Its got streches, yoga, everything you need. If you are going to be doing it at home, you need a floor mat, two dumbells at least, and a pull up bar for most of the exercises. im me if you have questions, i believe i still have all the videos at home.

I've heard great things about it, I want to try it myself. Bored of my usual gym workouts and what not.

There are some routines which require you to jump a lot. If you live in an apartment, don't bother buying it. Or the people below you is going to be very

Also keep in mind that part of the program is following a strict diet. Aside from that P90x actually works unlike most infomercial stuff out there.

With all this talk, downloaded the torrents seems interesting. However I agree with hgill I prefer working out at the gym so I don't know that this will work for me. I am going to give it a shot!

I don't do any of the p90x at home. I go to the gym for the workouts (laptop). Been about a month since I started. I can do about 12 push ups more than I originally could when I started. 6+more pullups than when I started. Also, I upped my dumbbell weight by 5 pounds since I started. My chest is harder and bigger and my gf has noticed it when we are laying down watching tv with her hand usually on my chest. My arms are starting to get some definition. So as far as I'm concerned....god bless the dude that posted about p90x on this forum. I take whey protein and the animal pak.

I purchased p90x on Saturday for 46 dollars shipped from eBay. I always thought my gfs brother was in good shape, but after he finished p90x, he looked even better.
