Cats are cute, but dogs are a lot more like children. I like all of my animals equally.

To add fuel to the dog/cat fire: my favorite is obviously canine.

Cats are simply not as smart as dogs. Show me a cat that can fetch, play dead, roll over, shake, meow/bark, and lay down --- all using sign language --- and I'll sway my opinion.

Hell, you can't even walk most cats...let alone have an outdoors romp with them. Dogs love to swim, run after you as you bike through mountains, retrieve your ducks during hunting (or in Cheney's case, retrieve bodies), protect houses/property, protect and guard their owners/family/pets/friends, herd animals, pull sleds, guide the blind, dial 9-1-1, fetch you your mail/slippers/remote, and they can even carry groceries for you.

What do cats do? Eat, sleep, shed.

agreed. I have found most cats to be selfish pests. Dogs will always be man's best friend for a reason.

i hate cats (btw i have two dogs) because one tried to kill me in my sleep. in SD i was cat sitting for my neighbor and in the middle of the night the cat decided to try and sleep ON MY FACE! usually a p*ssy on my face is a good thing but NOT when youre sleeping and NOT when its of a different species...oh and NOT i repeat NOT when its dude cat. anywho, heres some good reasons why dogs are superior:

-the reason cats purr is to let you know that YOURE their property. aint no cat ive seen bring home a paycheck, damnit. and dogs licking your face is a sign of submission. damn straight! everyone should know their roles...stupid cats.

-if you owned a cat/dog all your life and for some reason one day you shrunk down to 2" tall (kinda like in "honey, i shrunk the kids") the dog will still obey you...while a cat will soooo kill you.

-cats will bring you home "gifts" if you can call it that...some dead birds w/no heads and/or dead rodents. great...awesome but no thanks. just ate. thanksyou, but no...now clean that up.

-Dogs can bring you girls (not that my game needs any help). word.

plus soo many reason i cant think of right now. for shame bella...i thought you were a cool sag. nay, i say. nay.

Hahaha, your words are indeed true, Biggie.

Dogs are ridiculously faithful to their masters.

When raised properly, they are so loyal, in fact, that hunting dogs retrieve fishes, birds, and other prey to you without even breaking the skin of the prey. They only eat the prey if and only if the owner tosses the prey back at them. Interesting, eh?

A lot of dogs are found starved to death lying next to their dead owner in homes. Cats, on the other hand, pick and eat at the flesh of dead owners. Police find plump, healthy cats with a skeleton of the owner lying on the floor.

Special rescue dogs high up in the alps sniff out stranded/trapped bodies and when they find a survivor, they lick the faces of the survivor in order to keep him/her warm. Usually these dogs have survival kits/fluids strapped onto them.

Most dogs will also refuse to leave a burning home if they know their owners are trapped inside. Cats would have been long gone once they smelled smoke.

the nice thing with cats is that you don't have to walk them

they don't harrass you when you come home from work

Also cats didn't ruin my favorite ball when I was 4, I hate dogs
