Any GTRs at MSRP?
I was wondering if anyone knows of any GTRs at MSRP on the west coast. I talked to one of the dealers near me and they are charging 25k over MSRP!!! I don't think that they will sell at that amount in Oregon. I would like to get one at MSRP though. I'm not so sure it will happen soon though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...3756.m14.l1308
Thanks in advance. |

Owner of the family of dealerships that I work for in NJ. I sell BMW's and the Nissan store is right across the street.

Theres a lot of hype built up, and this is the first year its coming to the USA. Given the amazing performance figures it's been throwing down coupled with high demand, low numbers. The greedy dealers will mark them up till things settle down, who knows when that is. We control the market but then again im sure there are plenty of people out there with tons of money who dont mind paying the mark up just to be the first ones on the block with one a GTR. I still remember the 10k markups on the e92 m3 until dealers realized that noones going to pay that much for them. |

Dude Sonic you are like the single most ignorant guy I've seen on these forums so far. It's actually annoying seeing how biased you are. Shit, you should take my name.

I'm going back to stock. In a couple years I'm ordering, depending on the price differences either the regular or V-Spec. At slightly less than MSRP God what a car.

By the sounds of it, you may get a cheaper retail price in the US but you end up paying closer to European prices on anything remotely rare or interesting. Is this opinion of mine correct?

I made about 20 or 30 calls to dealerships around the country looking for MSRP or close. I found several places that offered their GTR's for MSRP but they wanted a local buyer that would be using them for service. Others would sell for MSRP for allocations that are three years away and not confirmed.....I guess we will see...
I was a on a few GTR forums that speculated that Nissan is being a little dishonest about how many GTR's will actually be sold. Some say they might sell double the amount they are advertising for the US market....who knows though Jason
