The New S-Class
Spotted 2 07 S-Classes recently in the past two weeks. I have to admitt they're veeeerrrrry niice. One was a deep green w/ the AMG SP the other was silver, which was especially with the panoramic roof. Idk, also those bulging wheel wells look pretty dam good they hugged those large amgz. The 7 definately has serious comp in my opinion, (02 Li within the family) however the S-Class is a new gen.

I love the new S, I went with my dad to MB last weeknd to test drive the SlK 55 AMG and the CLK 55 AMG and saw the S, it was sooo pretty. I also saw 2 S's on the road, there nice looking cars. O we decided we didnt like either of the 2 MB's we tested and instead are going for the 650ci (yay, that was my choice the whole time)

Agreed. Even though they're not that reliable, when you think of Luxury cars, you pretty much immediately think of MBZ. |

I've seen a good number over that past few weeks and I think they're very posh so far as Mercedes-Benz goes. I wasn't too keen on the design from the press shots but in person it's got definite presence, although I dunno how I feel about the almost-but-not-quite Maybach styling. I appreciate the generally baroque design theme Benz has adopted, though...guess I'm just an old skool fan, heh. This iteration of the S-class definitely took some cues from the E65, though, like the iDrive-esque computer interface and the general feel of the dashboard. Regardless they definitely set the benchmark when it comes to luxury liners, you know?
wow I wrote a lot about a car that I'm not even really that big on. Caffeinated much?
