Bike gang attacks driver on highway
These guys need to be found and brought in.
This is somewhat similar to the NYC attack in 2015. http://sfist.com/2017/03/09/video_dr...ted_bikers.php http://www.sfgate.com/crime/article/...F-10989429.php

In terms of the right tool for the job, I'm thinking handgun, not Range Rover. And wondering why we don't have some kind of tech to ID these bikes - we get the same BS here in my state - "can't/won't chase them when they run" which does make sense, but their knowing that they just get a free pass seems to incite more of this. How about some kind of RFI tag like they put on clothing, so a trooper can hit you with a radar-type gun and get an info tag back on who's bike it is. I bet the insurance companies would love to be able to separate these folks out from the responsible riders, and would probably pay for most of it.

f*cking idiots.
I used to want to buy a super bike, but too many douches own them now. I've had my share of incidents on the freeway with these assholes. |

Reminds me of the Range Rover incident. Felt bad for both sides as the Asian dude lost his job and got beat up in front of his family and one of the bikers was paralyzed.

It's these kind of particular riders that give responsible riders a bad reputation. I can admit that although I may take certain opportunities to enjoy my two wheeled toy, I always share the roads and maintain awareness of the fact that in an incident involving a car vs bike... the car will win. Stay safe out there, all of you.

Exactly, those aren't real sport bike riders, bunch of them were on dirt bikes also. Those are the goons that ride through the city(and apparently on the freeway too) riding wheelies and doing stunts trying to show off. Real riders/enthusiasts don't do that.

He did. And alcohol in his system in the afternoon. While I agree with you, it makes me wonder how innocent he was within the altercation. Another weird bit was the "undercover" police officers as part of the ride group.

I never heard anything about alcohol in the Land Rover driver's system or his getting fired, but seem to recall the undercover cop lost his job and was convicted. I also think there were some off duty cops involved.

The NYC incident, he testified. Seems like they were pretty traumatized.
https://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/19/n...e-highway.html Seems pretty unfair that employers are not supportive. Quote:
