Who's watching "The Night Of"?
Wrapping up next Sunday, episode 7 I believe. Normally don't watch stuff like this but it's been pretty good. Incorporates a little bit of everything-humor language gore suspense etc. Thoughts about it? I'm still on the fence if he committed the murder.
Searched but nothing about it came up! |

I thought it to be a good mini series. It's in tune with much of the series that come on today, drama, passion, violence, twist... I thought it was a slight hint of Serial with Adnan. Truth be told, it reflects how an individual can be railed into the "system" with very little..

I like it. I like that the show is that it's not too much of a cliche of your typical murder mystery TV series although I suspect it's theme after next week's series finale will be a bit of a cliche. A man goes to prison innocent and leaves a criminal, unable to adapt back to normal life and will ultimately end up going back to jail for a crime he commits later.
Pretty impressive how the show makes me feel bad for him in the first couple episodes of the series, but now I just don't feel much sympathy for him at all since he's pretty much become a criminal. Outside of that, I do like how the show also demonstrates how shit like this can tear families apart with all they sacrifice in order to help you. In the end, his family is giving up so much and he's so unaware while Naz is doing what he has to do to survive and his parents are also unaware of the monster he's becoming. In the last episode the mother alluded to this but she thinks she raised a monster when in reality, a correctional facility did. |

Watching it as well. Pretty impressed. I think it's a couple of episodes too long (6 might have been a bit better) but otherwise great TV. Can't wait for the finale this Sunday.

I agree, trying to see how they can tie it all together now. Last weeks was pretty good, almost as interesting as the first.
Don't want to talk too much about for spoilers but oh well |

I don't know why this hasn't occurred to anyone but clearly the cat did it.
I binge watched over the weekend to see what the hype was all about. Now I'm committed to seeing it through.

I watch it and really like it. And pretty much agree with what everyone says here. But for such a short series why on earth are they spending so much time on JT's gross ass foot situation?

My wife and I really enjoy it. Kinda reminds us of True Detective. Anyway we feel that the stepdad and the Duane Reed character are involved in the girls death.
Can't wait to see it Sunday. |
