Clarify no break, please. Like, no gas stop, no per break - literally no stopping at all except for traffic. Or do you mean like without getting out and sitting down somewhere else, like a restaurant or stopping for an hour or something like that.

Most new-er cars will warn you to stop/take a break after two hours behind the wheel. The first car I had heard of doing this was on the 1st gen Audi TT. Fortunately BMW knows its drivers are drivers, and can decide for themselves.

Drove 24 hrs no breaks. Had a Chevelle with a big block. Tank would only hold 10 gal and car got 14mi/gal. Drove from northern most WI to DC. So I stopped for gas every 2 hrs but that was all. Did it solo. The total trip was from El Paso TX to WI then WI to DC. LOTS of gas stops.

I was thinking OP meant driving without using the brakes. Like literally not stopping.

Did I mention I was driving a moving truck! With a speed limiter. That felt like it would stop in all the hill climbs in the Carolinas, TN, and KY. You're mean.

Thank you. See Mr Tonka. We are trying to make the OT kinder and gentler. You don't have to speed-shame me.

Baton Rouge to NYC 3x - 1350 miles

Baton Rouge to Raleigh 20+ times - 1000 miles

Baton Rouge to Cleveland 5 times - 1100 miles

All stopping for fuel only. On long drives I bring a thermos of coffee, 2 sandwiches and veggies. If I'm going for a time, I will dehydrate myself the day before so I only have to stop for one bio break. All stops less than 4 minutes except the i8. I always have 2-3 minutes of gawker time.

If I take the diesel it is only one stop.

Asking this question to a bunch of Americans will blow 350kms out of the water.

A week ago I drove ~470 miles (750 km) in one shot without stopping.

Swapped drivers for the next 420 miles back to my car, then I finished up with the last 175 miles home. All in all I drove about 9 hours that day. Total distance was right at 1000 miles.

This.

My fav road sign in the world is just outside of Houston, TX on I-10 West:

El Paso 896 Miles.

It's there to remind everyone exactly how big Texas actually is! I love it!

Stateside and distance wise I think only 1000miles non stop other than fuel, this was going from somewhere Midwest to Flagstaff AZ. It took me only 12 hours or so as I was cruising 100-120mph.

Time wise I think it was a mission I did in Afghanistan, took us 36 hours one way since we had to stop for a mandatory IED blast break (in which I wasn't the one utilizing the break lol), and we were traveling so damn slow.
