Not making, attempting lol. He almost took the wing out.
People don't realize in air accidents are extremely rare almost all accidents occur during take off, landing and taxi.

that's one outstanding pilot though...he compensated pretty good with that crosswind and yet still ground out the wing...frankly, i don't think he should even try to land...

That was a fucking sick almost landing, it ranks up there with the Jetblue flight that landed on a straight line with the landing gear at 90degrees, you wonder if these pilots are any good and now you know... they only get these few chances to prove themselves as professionals, I don't see how he could have tried to land any better, he practically strafed into a landing, but the wind still caught him...

I saw this on the news last week. I would have shit a brick.
I'm not sure if that pilot deserves a bonus for mad skill, or a smack for trying to land. |

most pilots have mad skills and are ex-military or have flown for a # of years...just remember they don't want to die anymore then you do and they'll do whatever it takes to save that plane
