I have a Runwell (42mm). I don't really buy into fashion watches usually, but I got suckered into the Built in Detroit crap while I was browsing Norstrom back when these first came out. I also got mine for less than half MSRP, so that helps. Not sure I'd have paid full price.
The Horween strap is comfortable. It uses a cheap Ronda movement. More accurate than any of my automatics, lol. And I get compliments on it every time I wear it. Do I have fun wearing it? Sure. Do I realize it's a fashion watch with a bland Ronda quartz movement? Yep. As long as you like it and you realize what you are (or are not) buying, then go for it. There's no way these watches are appreciating. |
