I can really do without the comedy. If I want that, I'll go listen to Louis C.K.
That being said, looks like Ford did a great job with this car. Looks like a blast to drive.

The s65 is nearly 10 years old and its an awesome engine, Ford did a good job improving in the past ~10 years and the flat plane stepped up the game, let's give some credit where it's due. Don't get me wrong I love the s65 but this is a new vehicle that retails way less than any m3 then or now (msrp new) it's a phenomenal motor/car especially for the money.

X2. Maybe I am not following what they did that was the same.
I am impressed with this car and one of the few American performance cars I would really consider buying.

GT350 is a great car. Can't wait for the Pony Car wars to heat up with the new Camaro. The old Z/28 left the new M3/4 in the dust around the track. Can't wait to see what the general has in store for a lighter car!

Perhaps you know nothing about the E9x M3, seems so.

The S65 as you pointed out was designed and released nearly 10 years ago as was the E92. That vehicle weighs 3600lbs, has adaptive suspension, modern looks, and revs to 8400rpm. Ford TEN years later, comes out with a fantastic car that does the same thing but weighs about 200lbs more. Yes I'd rather pick up a used E92 M3 with 40k on the clock for 35k, enjoy as is or supercharge if I really want to 550hp; saving my thousands for many vacations. Oh btw enjoy paying the dealer to rob you with markups on your Mustang. |

Did I mention track times? Can you read? The Ford has well over 100hp on the M. I'm saying the technical achievements of the Ford are not that beyond the E9x which was a decade ago. Kudos to them for making the car but how damn long did it take for them to do so with their pride and joy sports car. It FINALLY revs to 8k, has and adaptive suspension, and has purportedly has great steering and handling; oh but it weighs 3800lbs oops.

Also didn't the M3 cost more when it came out as the GT 350 does now (non inflation adjusted numbers), almost a decade later? Not seeing this as the same thing.

Damn this animal...sounds savage! Looks, a bit much for me but I'm not complaining. Amazing especially with that price point. Shame dealers will most likely mark up the living crap out of this thing.

I would love to pull up to this thing at a stop light with my BPM stg2 ZCP. I think I would give it a good run! Great looking car, but I would still take my car over this, any day of the week. Oh, and mine revs to 8600, oops
