It is the V10 (and the high revs) that is making that sound.....but Eisenmanns for most applications are the rawest and loudest.

Hot damn, the M5/M6's engine's exhaust note is possily one of my top 3 all time favorites.

I'd like four more cylinders please.

I like the high pitch of the sound. I saw one of the eisenmann guys saying that the Sport for 335 has a higher pitch than the Race or Meistershaft. I had Race on my 325 and it was a deep done, but I like the idea of higher pitch better.

I know that I am going to butcher the definition of the terms.....but the timbre of the V10 is what gives the sound and not just the baffling provided by the mufflers.

I would try to hear the exhausts for the 335 before I get one. Turbocharge cars always sound blatty because you hear the exhaust through the turbo / wastegate....

For NA engines, I think the V10 and the Ferrari V8's are amongst the best because it has a rich & complex timbre and high pitch (because of the revs). For turbo engines, I think the best sounds is the whoosh from the turbos and any exhaust that gives the sound is best mated to turbo cars.

This is of course all subjective.

That is quite possibly the best BMW sound I've ever heard. 500+ hp never sounded so good in a street legal car. Thanks for sharing that.

Lou's upgrades were only the Eisenmann race muffs.
