apparently from what i hear all those super cars you posted above are people who 'rent' them in dubai and drive them over. You have x amount of weeks/months that you can keep the car in Iran. The only way to tell if the cars actually 'owned' by somebody is if the tags say 'tehran' or whatever city. None of those above do, so they fake balling lol

Are you kidding me? You really think people in Dubai trust Eye-ranians with a rental car worth half a mil. to cross the border? I don't think you spent a whole lot of time in that part of the world. Have you?

the key word here is 'from what i hear'..

But if you actually look at the the small print below the license plates on some of those cars you'd see "UAE"

They buy cars/rent cars from there, then can only drive them around for x/y amount of weeks/months or else the authorities tax them heavily so they return the cars/sell them back...

If you've ever even driven the streets in Tehran you'd know better than to drive anything that nice there...

That rental you are talking about was the case a few years back, but Iran has opened it's door to outside automakers and people can now actually purchase cars through dealers. They have BMW, BENZ, TOYOTA, PEJOUT etc... dealers in Iran and they work just as if they would here. Look at these videos:

That's the fastest production car BMW offers. If you are talking exotics, then that's a different category but even then M5 , M6 is almost Gallardo territory. Also no SMG, no care! Your 335I is XI, I mean come on! Talk about buying a SUV as a Sport cars. Ragging on the poor M5 owner lol.

What you are saying is true. My dad's business is partly in dubai so I know what goes on and stuff with the cars. They basically can't bring a new car to Iran since it would be importing it and that would cost a whole lot of money (90% tariff on cars). Therefore, they either rent them from exotic rental services or they buy them used or lease them and bring them in Tehran to show off and pick up a couple of hot babes and have fun for 6 months. After the 6 month allowed period for them to have the car in Iran, they either take the car back to Dubai and keep it there or they bring it back and re-register it with the Iranian customs.

Fortuneately, one of my dad's good friends works in the customs office and he can allow my dad to bring a car in for as long as he wishes to keep it. So he might be bringing the X6 xDrive35i.

I hope that cleared things up a bit for you guys.
