I have enjoyed watching others projects so it time to share ours:

This is 5 years in the making, bought the 7.5 Acres exactly 5 yrs ago and we are now breaking ground on our custom designed home which we designed with with our architect. I have to call out to one of our members @Patrick303 for turning us onto the design. A Frank Llyod Wright Prairie Style. He showcased his house project here Patrick303

As we make progress over the next 9 to 12 months I will provide updates, let me know if you have any questions.

Some quick fact about the house

• First floor living for the wife and I. there are no steps getting around the first floor or into the home from outside (front).
• Second floor has 2 bedrooms and full bath for visitors, along with a Flex Room (media center, games and extra sleeping space with a kitchenette
• Warm Board radian floor heating
• Hardwood Flooring throughout
• Three season room with automatic screens, in ceiling radian heaters
• Butler Pantry with Trap Door to Wine Cellar (Future project)
• Two Garages, the main garage at the front (only for parking cars). Second Garage on the side, capable of holding 4 cars with lifts, 12ft high ceiling, this will be my work shop, will have one lift initially.

As you may have seen, the wife and I have moved on from our custom home. As much as we loved the house we decided we prefer the bustling city life over suburbia, at least at this point in our lives.
