I'm glad they said winter storm warning from 7pm tonight until 7pm tomorrow. It's already snowing....

I don't know about that. I just read in the Daily News that parts of LI could get 36 inches. No way to know what is hype and what is real.

Our forecast here is for zero to five inches, hopefully closer to zero. On the bright side, next Thursday's long range forecast (day after Groundhog Day) is forecast to be in the 50's F and sunny.....

We lucked out, put ours in JUST before covid, previous summer anyway. It was a HORRENDOUS amount of money but 6 months into covid and prices rose 35% and an 18 month wait. We had one couple knock on our door, asking to buy the house BECAUSE WE HAD A POOL.
Completely fucking crazy. |

Now they are saying 6-9 inches by me. Every time I read something it changes. At least it will be over the weekend.

Sunny, windy, 65. Drove the bug to work, window down, left arm out.
Can't figure out if I do that because it's just so cool, or because the cabin is just so small |

It's Canadian. Just discount it by half and it will make sense.
The nor'easter alerts were updated when I checked around noon EST. They have extended the BLIZZARD Warnings to all of eastern MA, RI, and Suffolk County NY (eastern Lawn Guyland). Cue the national TV news rescue stories from people trapped on the Long Island Expressway (an oxymoron) for days. Still forecasting nothing to a few inches here.....

My old stomping grounds and the last university where I worked before moving here are going to get slammed if the forecast holds. Glad I don't have to deal with it. We got a couple of inches here today and that's enough of a hassle for me.
