That's some mouth watering meat to grill right there! And then there's the Belgian Moon....which, not so much. But to each their own, I'm sure people would be horrified at some of my preferences as well.

Not my favorite either but we had it leftover from our wedding.

Halibut with beurre noisette (brown butter), on couscous with salad and vinaigrette.
No pictures this time. I saw halibut at a local mainstream grocery store, and grabbed some. It is very rare that any place sells it in my area. It's possible I haven't had halibut in 10 years, since a short time living in the Boulder, CO area. Halibut is my favorite fin fish. |

Duck Pithivier
Recipe by Bruno Albouze on YouTube Duck confit and ground pork with vegetables wrapped in puff pastry, with duck sauce. One of the best things I have ever eaten. All credit goes to Chef Albouze. Macerated Michigan strawberries and cream for dessert. Last edited by chassis; 01-23-2021 at 08:47 PM.. |

I'm still am happy with my unrefined love for these two establishments. I'm sure there are many like them over in the UK. |

Five Guys was ok the first 2-3 times or so I ate there. I’m not a big fan of fried / cooktop burgers vs. cooking over a flame, although I manage to eat them when presented with one.

Beer Butt Chicken, I use Guinness beer (voted the best for BBC) but any liquid will do it.
1 hours at medium/hight indirect heat (meat temperature will be 180+ but super moist). As usual Tiggie got her fair portion... Last edited by JJ 911SC; 01-24-2021 at 09:21 PM.. |
