That's the only time I'd support the idea of having a concealed weapon.

There's no reason to have a gun. It's just another possible death waiting to happen if someone gets carried away.

That's your opinion and it is duly noted.

Cause life threatening crime doesn't exist... It's only in over-exaggerated news stories, right?

As many rapes, murders, carjackings, and other atrocious crimes there are out there I'd prefer to have my gun, be trained with it, and be aware of what is going on around me just in case one of those type crimes finds itself to me. In the same way you would be prepared to protect your family from mountain lions or bears some of us prefer to be prepared for the much more abundant amount of crime that is everywhere around us (not just while camping). That is my opinion and I intend on carrying as long as there is crime.

I'd also like to add that the only death my gun might ever cause is someone threatening my own life or my family's, and by threatening I mean imminent danger.

Hope everyone out there takes a peak outside their bubble and sees how dangerous of a world we live in.

Where are those pics Viper Two Four?

By the way Newsong my Mom carries a Smith & Wesson Lade Smith .38 Snubnose. She loves it.

We'll supposedly, according to the Aztecs (or maybe Mayans, not sure), the world is going to end in December of 2012. The 21st I want to say. Scary cause they were so good at predicting all this other crazy shit.

+1. I was scared shitless when I went to the border to pick up my friends super hot friend. I hate the 21+ law though. I don't think the 3 years is going to do anything. Like Dave Chapelle said, they need to get a single age where you become and adult, not 3 ages.

My mom's Mercedes E350 has a nice little cubby compartment under the seat. Which is like an overhead compartment in an airplane. Definitely big enough for a pistol

Unless you live in the ghetto, why do you people feel the need to have a firearm readily accessible 24/7? Just not necessary, and it MAY even lead to more problems.

This is one of the reasons I would never live in the southern states. I don't think I could stand hicks talking about firearms all day long.

Yeah generally, I don't carry because I think it's just a way to trouble if you lose your cool.

I sometimes get pissed when people cut me off, but I just laugh it off and think of all the things God has blessed me with, especially when it's some junker Civic with a half fallen off bumper.

But when my family is involved, I don't take any chances, and I'm a big outdoors type.

Yeah, Smith & Wesson have been making guns for a long time.

This is the one I own:
http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/w...-1&isFirearm=Y

I'm glad I've never had to fire it in defense yet, but if needed, it's strong enough to take out a mountain lion, or other threat in the woods.

What do you mean? What if I am sitting in my car and someone rear-ends me at a stoplight. Without a gun, how am I supposed to carry out my legal right to instantaneous justice?

I've been thinking that something mounted low on the back of the passenger seat would be a good spot.
