So work is going to send me to Chicago to Mitsubishi for a couple days and I'm not sure if I want to take this mini vacation in the middle of March or wait and go the middle of October....,


Either way it's going to be kind of chilly up there. Will likely end up getting an extension on my hotel room and stay through the weekend.

Boss tells me I need to be in Charlotte for a work thing tomorrow at 8am. I'm about 3 hours away, so I tell him I want a hotel room for tonight.


Must have misread, but he never got me setup, so now I'm stuck between deciding of staying home and enjoying a quiet home for 1 day and get up at 4am to drive 3 hours, or wait for him to set up a hotel for me, because I hate expensing shit.

Tomorrow at work we are having a "super bole" of snacks thing (so I don't get the NFL cracking down on the post) We are allowed to wear a jersey/color of any team, but all I have are team t-shirts. Boss told me go buy a collared shirt in the Vikings colors, but I just can't imagine finding a purple dress shirt with gold collar just off the rack.

I'm thinking, if I bring enough avocado, I can get by with full casual and my Vikings t-shirt.

I just can't remember where I put my football pants!!!!

Heading to Chicago this weekend. Now we have to decide which restaurants to hit every night. Sunday will be the Shula steakhouse in the hotel so I can watch the SB. We know a great Thai place for another night. Just need to find a third restaurant. Snow and cold could come into play. Don't want to be walking too far.

Woke up this morning and used the bathroom. Tried to flush but forgot the water was going to be off until 6am for maintenance. :/ even "worse", I'm thirsty and I'm out of bottled water and my Brita is empty. Have to wait 45 min now to flush AND drink water. Ugh. So parched!!! #firstworldproblems

Bought the wife a loaded 2014 C300 with the AMG package and everything else known to mankind. One thing my ricer self wanted was those red seat belts which are standard and the thing showed up with black. Apparently someone deliberately requested black ones despite the standard equipment with that package. Oh well. I'm sure the novelty would have wore off quickly. Alcantara and red stitching everywhere looks pretty sweet regardless.
