^^^^^ You might be riding around on 10-12 year old (depending on your 997.2 model year) suspension, engine mounts, etc..
If you have PASM you should look into the DSC sport PASM controller. I've read countless times how it really improves the ride in all driving conditions both more sporty and more touring oriented. Beautiful car by the way and I don't even like Cabs but she sure is a looker! |

Thanks, yeah it took me three years to settle on this one as I did not want black, grey or silver or any one of those 500 shades of grey. Yellow is a 20K premium and mrs has a red car so it was white or blue.
Yes I am riding around on 1 year old suspension, in saying that it only has 40,000 miles. So yeah I will slowly knock off the items you listed if I keep the car long term, long term being a 10+ yr commitment. It's and S so I have the toggle for firmer suspension if i want it but Toronto roads are truly awful. First step may be new rubber. |

I daily drove my E92 M3 for almost 7yrs. When I hit 95k miles I had the income to purchase another vehicle for a daily and it became my garage queen/weekend fun car.

actually...owning cars for 7+ years is usually the best way to gain extra discretionary income to purchase a weekend car!

I have a G82 now, and it's a fun, almost GT-like car, but it can't replace my E93. And I have no other cars. I lost the need to own an appliance as a daily (that's what family, friends, Turo and Uber is for). Every mile I accrue on one of my own vehicles is now a 'fun' mile. I want to add a Boxster next, even less seats. Last edited by KevinGS; 08-08-2022 at 08:23 PM.. |

I've been daily-ing my M3 for the past 7 years. Early this year I bought my weekend car/garage queen. It's a 4-door sedan lol. I still daily the M3. I'll never stop driving it.

The interior is grey not black, so looks a bit plain. I get the grey makes sense for a cab on a hot day. So to me, this combo can look a little too boulevard cruiser and not enough sports car so to speak. Subtle changes can go a long way. The red belts, small front lip and maybe a few alcantara touches inside. Subtle though, just here and there.

So, next question on the weekend cars.... why don't you want to enjoy driving them during the week?

Definitely. My buddy has the yellow seat belts in his Miami Blue GT3 to match his calibers and roll bar. Looks sick

- Maintain lower miles and wear and tear on a paid-off asset, hoping to maintain or potentially increase value over the medium to long term. - Goal is to avoid Winter altogether. Road salt and low temp brine mixes eat Jeep TJ frames for breakfast. - Insurance is setup for low miles per year and pleasure only. I also cancel driving covering during Winter months to save more $ per year. - While the old Jeep can get me to work, fetch groceries, haul/pull stuff etc., it is not exactly an excellent highway dweller, people carrier, nor an efficient specimen when it comes to visiting gas pumps. Thankfully, the cast iron I-6 prefers 87 octane.
