Except when in last name of Wedem. . . . r

That's my story too, and I've stuck with it since junior high, which ALLEGEDLY is when all the smoking began. SHH, don't tell my mom.

Been an ongoing battle.

They say you never quit, only take breaks.

I was going strong at least by vaping for quite some time but it became more of a hassle than simply pulling out a cigarette and lighting the end.

The best time period I had was when I limited myself. I would only allow x amount per day and gradually reduce that number until I was down to 1 a day. At that point it was easier to say F it to that 1 a day and I could stop.

Then I changed jobs and started back up 3x worse.

This is exactly what I was talking about when I said you have to commit to vaping the same way you would commit to quitting cold turkey. I can't even think about going back to cigarettes after three years.

What kind of setup are you vaping?
Vaping has been really working for me atleast. You have to have a game plan. For me I started high at 16MG gradually going down to 3MG. Now I'm going to try 0MG and see if that works.

Keep in mind the different levels of vaping if your current vape doesn't satisfy you.
You can vape those disposables, tank, or go more advanced and start dripping

If that last thing happens, you are advised to stop the vaping immediately and consult your urologist/obgyn.

Day 3 not a smoke, according to app I'm at over 80 hours.

Last night I met some buddies for some food and drinks not tempted at all. Today no work me and my girl hung by the pool woke feeling great. Today I have not had 1 single craving. I didn't even put my patch on until after 1 today.

And I'm home not working today and still nothing.mhave no desire no interest nothing.

If I can continue this I'll be fine.

Anytime I even have a single thought I just tell myself I didn't put myself through this for 3 days to ever jeopardize it.

I can honestly say I'm feeling great now and it's the weekend now. I have put myself in some tempting situations this week, with the drinking, hanging with a friend who smokes ( he didn't at all last night as support for me) being in public places passing people who smoke, end of the month coming work is insane and if I can over come that with 3 days in I don't see why I ever should have to smoke again.

You're a Viking. All you need is a sword and a long boat! Keep up the great work. You are making us all proud.

Thanks everyone for the support. It helps to read others experiences and their words of motivation.

I have had my patch off since about 6 tonight and it's 9:04 still no cravings and no urge at all.

My girlfriend keeps asking me how I'm doing and every time I get up she is amazed I'm just getting a drink or using the bathroom. Tonight we actually watched a full movie without me pausing to take a smoke break.

Today is day 7. One full week of no smoking. Not even a puff.

I have to say I feel great. I went into work later today and this morning I did a 2.5 mile run which I haven't done in years.

I ran non stop, no breaks, no heavy breathing, no pounding heart, no pains in my chest, coughing wheezing feeling like I wanted to die.

Over the weekend I had a nice BBQ with friends and some drinks no cravings at all.
