The last two times the Broncos played the number 2 ranked school (Ducks), they beat them.

On any given game day, anything can happen. Boise State has had an incredible winning streak lasting for years.

Until they are knocked off, how can their success be simply attributed to an easy schedule?

If they keep winning, they should appear in another BCS bowl game this year. That makes a nice pedigree lasting a few years. If they go undefeated this year, they are at the very least doing what they must do. It's unfortunate that their ultimate measure of success must rely upon ALL others having a less than perfect record.

As for a third match between BSU and TCU for the championship, I would rather see BSU in a different BCS bowl playing a BCS team. Playing TCU again would just give fuel to the haters that say they are not winning against the authentic best teams.

I don't expect BSU to pull it off, but they have surprised me time and again.

To be honest if the Bucks don't go to the big game by some statistical miracle I would enjoy seeing Boise State play a serious contender from the SEC, Pac-10, or Big Ten in a BCS bowl game....I am a deep in the closet Boise Fan....I think they have an excellent coach and play well on both sides of the ball....their quarterback is seriously one of the best in the country and would be a Heisman contender right now if he played for an SEC team.....yeah I said it

A bad BC team? Their offense might be horrendous, but their defense is very good. Not to mention Ponder wasn't 100% and had 4 turnovers in the game. Despite 4 turnovers and getting gashed for 180 yards in the first 8 minutes we came together and found a way to win. Something Miami hasn't been able to do when Jacory turns into a interception machine. So it doesn't matter how much we win by, a win is a win and in the end that is all that matters.

What about Miami? You guys manage a win against Duke, very impressive there... You guys put up the third lowest amount of points of any team that has played Duke this year. The only two teams that have scored less against Duke were Elon and Maryland. Wake Forest and Army were able to put up more points against Duke than you. Probably the ONLY reason you beat Duke was that you got 7 turnovers against them. If it wasn't for that, there is a very real possibility you could have lost that game.

Let's not even get started on Jacory. Talk all you want about "J12" and how he's one of the best QB's in the country. Fact of the matter is in three years he still makes rookie mistakes. He tries to force throws, gets unsettled under pressure, and isn't making most of his passes. In the last three games he has had a completion percentage of 39.4, 40.4, and 50. You could contribute some of that to dropped passes, which is a whole other discussion right there.

In every win besides the one against FAMU Miami has looked sloppy and unorganized. If they keep it up they will lose against stiffer competition like GT, UNC, and VT. UNC and VT both came within a hair of beating top 6 teams. I'm not being a cocky FSU fan, am I being realistic. Something be it the coaching or the attitude of the players is not right at Miami and they better figure it out soon.

I actually hope Miami does well, it will make us look better down the road, just like losing to Oklahoma, while still not great, doesn't look as bad now they are #1.

Your post was very accurate. And while I hope Miami takes care of business the rest of the way, I don't think a rematch with FSU in the ACC Champ. Game would any different than the first one.

'Canes looked pretty good last nite (except for the first qtr). In the 2nd half, during the time outs, the D was jumping up and down, having a good time. It was good to see some emotion from what has been a pretty emotionless team.

Great football weekend, USF upset Cincy, OU lost (cannot stand Bob Stoops, was so happy when Miami beat them last year), and Miami pounded UNC. Also just got back from Raymond James where the Bucs scored with 10 seconds left to beat the Sam Bradford led Rams 18-17
