Game 7 against Phoenix made me chuckle. Looks like the Wings have woken up. That's not good for San Jose. They're going to have to step their game up or hope the Wings slump again.

The team I don't want to play is Vancouver. Whoever said they weren't exciting to watch obviously haven't seen the Sedins play. It's ridiculous the shit they pull off out there. When Luongo's on his game, they're one of the best teams in the playoffs for sure, but I don't think he can be consistent enough to play that way through the entire playoffs. We'll see though.

Lol, it's gonna be one hell of a series especially after after Chicago knocked us out last year. I say we can expect lotsa actions, lotsa scoring, crazy goaltending, and LOTS of rough stuff Wow, lotsa Chicago and Vancouver fans here!

Hey, If Pittsburgh plays like that every game this series, they should be just fine. Thats why they play a Best of 7. Pittsburgh is most definitely the better team.

I love it how everybody is always hating on the Habs.
Beating the number 1 team in the league , taking a game in Pittsburgh is still not enough for you guys.
Pittsburgh definitely has a more skillfull team with better players minus fleury.
But it's the playoffs and it's about heart. And the Habs have a lot of heart.
I will not predict that the Habs will win but I'll say this. They will fight for it with everything they have and they most definitely have a chance of winning it.

Did Pittsburgh play well last night? Sure. But they still lost.
Did Washington shoot 53 shots, 42 shots, 39 shots etc at us?
Yup! But they still lost.
Our D is outstanding and our Goalie well I don't think I need to say anything on the hottest Goalie in the league right now.
So continue believing Montreal has no chance. It only makes us stronger.

I think Montreal has a chance, but it's totally reliant on Halak. Do I think he can keep this torrid pace through the entire Stanley Cup run? I wouldn't bet on it, but I didn't think Osgood could either. And he did. I've been wrong plenty of times before, especially about the outcomes of hockey playoff series (and who hasn't), but I don't think I'd go as far as to say the Habs don't stand a chance.

It's good to see a Cinderella story develop, and you've got to root for them in this situation, doubly so because I'm sure every hockey fan is tired of hearing about Cindy. I'll admit, he's a damn good player, but I'm surprised Canadians themselves haven't found out who first tried comparing him to Gretzky.... I would think that would be grounds for a lynching....

I agree that most of it relies on Halak but if the D continues to play strong and Camy / Gionta and Gomez continue playing the way they do then we definitely have a good chance!
No doubt Cindy is good. Probably the best , but it takes more then one man.
But Pittsburgh is definitely a powerhouse...

Where did I ever say Montreal had no chance? Don't put words into my mouth. You all made the most of every opportunity you had, got some great bounces etc. etc. Hey, thats Playoff hockey. I think Pittsburgh is going to have to play a more disciplined game, finishing their checks, putting bodies in front of the net. Thats how they played for the first ten minutes of the game and they really had Montreal on their heels. Your D is good, not outstanding (53 shots, 42 shots, 39 shots, 39 shots is not what I call outstanding D). Your goalie is outstanding. So don't get all up in arms from what I said before. I've always had respect for Montreal; after all they are one of the original 8 teams. And don't dog on Fleury, pretty sure he's been in the cup Final the past two seasons and single handedly won us a couple of games along the way. He is not the reason why we lost yesterday afternoon. He will steal another game along the way as well. Good luck the rest of the way. And don't take everything as an attack on your Habs.
