this is the internet, no dues required... anybody can say anything... I'm a ex-Navy SeAL male model, ex-F1 driver millionaire who makes love like a porn star...see and I would bet not anyways... first, this is not a ferrari two, 90% of the 5% that make >100k are over 50... this does not fit the internet demographics... |

I didn't see if this was discussed already, but some of the votes cast may have been for household income, not individual. Those married know that there is no such thing as individual income! That will skew the results. I'm a professional but am only over the $150k mark with my wife's income (she's in sales and makes more than I do!).

If I could make that kind of prediction I'd already be worth so many billions I wouldn't give a shit about market timing or if I still did people would come to Omaha for my investor meetings.

Problem with including the wife's income is that she doesn't want it going towards a new M....

just give it time... those huge drops in the market + massive fed cuts + tons of forclosures are going to yield another boombubble here soon enough. Not everyone was crushed in the housing bust... only the people that are whining about it! there's money on the sidelines, waiting patiently to capitalize on the misfortunes of those who are left holding the bag (in both the market and the housing bust). The questions are... where and when.... not a pretty thought, but that's kind of where we are these days....

I think an M3 is a great gift to yourself. Gradschool isn't all that much fun, and if your new found success affoards you a nice ride while going to and from that new office, I say go for it! All the reviews are solid, everyone who drives it seems super pleased. You probably won't regret it! |

MD's don't make anywhere near 150k when they graduate from med school.
Residency is a different story. |

keto, true... straight after med school, most interns are making what? 30k? and not even that much more after your residency? but, as i understand, i thought mds weren't allowed to "practice" on their own until after their residency? so i guess that was my definition of graduating from med school, but obviously, was not the correct one.

Very few professions pay at this level right out of school. And for the few that do, even fewer individuals are the recipients of this level of income. Sorry, just the facts.

I'm not in the tippy-top bracket, but I like my low-stress, non-managerial, 8- hour-a-day, jeans and t-shirt-dresscode job.
In short I'm lazy. Don't get me wrong though, I'll hit that top bracket soon. I just need to switch jobs a few more times. BTW, I'd like to personally thank the folks at Monster and Career Builder for indirectly helping pay for my BMWs. |

I reckon I would like your type of a job because stress seems to be my middle name and an 8 hours day is something only happens when I take a half the day off. |
