Ed, I want to shoot kites some day. Maybe you can be my guide. You get some great shots.

Thanks Dave. Seems like I go months without seeing one, and then I will get lucky and stumble on one that stays in the same area for a while. They don't migrate that I know of, but I seem to see more in fall/winter than other time of year, even though I just caught one hunting the other week. The one above is one I hadn't processed but took it in Feb.

^^^Beauty, Ed. Aside from the nice view, the pattern is cool. From the lower left corner right up through the center of the pic. Very nicely framed.

Nice one DC. I had a fawn and a mama in my backyard last night. I had to chase them off, it was too dark for photos and they were eating my garden.

Well when the thermometer passed 100 this weekend, I stayed in the AC and went over some files from cooler times. From last Christmas Day, I didn't like the way the contrails cut across this shot, but still an eagle:

I've been wanting to get a shot like this for quite a while. When I drive past the skate park, there's either no one there, I don't have my camera with me or I don't have the time to stop. Last night all the planets aligned perfectly.
