Ugh...hot chick wearing white Gym Shark yoga pants up to her hips with a sport bra doing squats! Let's just say you can clearly see a piercing down below and up top I've never been so distracted in my life

So leaving today for the vacation I've been ranting about long enough. Also of interest we had one of our VP's at work put their notice in this past Monday. I've worked with the guy for 21 years through 2 companies.

I left a nice 5 page report with my boss (President) yesterday with a summary of how I am supposedly next in line with salary surveys and supporting data......but took a neutral stance in all of it. But the VP that is leaving and I have virtually turned the company around in the last 6 year's, and I implemented an idea/process about 5 years ago that's saved the company slightly over $200K a year since it was put in place. Also I'm working on a project that has saved the company about $23K per month since the start of it 5 months ago. And it isn't even in my department.

He called me almost every 30 minutes yesterday checking on me as he heard through the "grapevine" I had two job offers out of the Blue in the last 9-10 days, although he didn't let on he knew. The VP walking out the door told him that unless he did something, he would probably lose me. He was VP of technology while I'm a lowly plant engineering manager. Plus one of the job offers is with the VP as it's back at a place we worked at in the past before the company sold.

He said he wants to discuss my future with the company when I get back. At this point I don't care even if the owner is flying up that week.

However it does mean a 30%+ salary increase and restructured bonus program. But I'm the type that feels like things happen when they are supposed to...so I'm just going to enjoy my vacation.

So let's get to that. This is a picture from my last workout. Ended up at 192 lbs which is about 10 lbs heavier than last year when we left. Last year I went really low, and depleted myself. I'm a lot fuller this time around. This is also when I was low on carbs, so I have more filling out to do!

Can't wait to hit the beach!

The best part about my vacation: I got up early (3-4 am MY time) and ran to the gym, then ran up this wicked hill on the back of the property. One morning, I even went and did an hour yoga class after those two.

I generally do my gym work after dinner, so this was a refreshing change.

So I was up at 3:00am (as usual), but this time laying out my diet for the Off-Season for when we return from vacation. Thinking this year I'm going to cap carbs at a slightly lower level and make it up with proteins and fat and see how well I grow on that.

Plus I'm going to milk the rebound from my diet I just ended for all its worth!

Had a week of binge eating and drinking. Definitely put on some unwanted weight. My resting HR also shot up. Beginning of the week I was around 52 bpm resting, end of the week of vacation I was nearing 64 bpm.... Really put my body through the ringer. That said I'm day 5 post vacation, resting hr was 46 bpm yesterday and looking at 47 bpm so far today and most of the weight is already off. Been kicking my ass back in shape and really having a blast in the gym. Joints all feel well rested from the week off so that is a plus, and also my hip pain during deep squats has diminished to some extent as well! Just hit legs on Friday, but have them again today (still sore as hell). Pumped to get in there!

Glad I have some gym rats up in here that like to talk about gym crap. Not to technical or bringing down people like in the real bodybuilding forums where people in there think they're better than everyone else. Here I can see we can just shoot the shits and get courtesy feedback. Love the smartass comments too but I know it's all in good humor. On that note heading to the gym to kill chest and tris! What's everyone else hitting today beside Rmtt who wakes da fuq up so early lol while half the world is still dreaming of Brittany Spears?

Well just do one of your forearms that won't be used for tomorrow. Or you can use your feet? Not that I would know

Damn yeah that's pretty high (although still average). Just throw some cardio into your workouts. Last I remember you're eating a shit load too which doesn't really help, but I understand the goal is to put on some muscle. Takes some time, but if you're consistent it'll drop

It has its advantages! Nothing like walking the beach around 5:00 am when there is just enough light to see to really relax and feel alone!

I'm planning on swimming tonight.

My hammies are KILLING me, hope I don't kick into some cramps. I couldn't figure out what I did to make them so sore, then realized I picked all the watermelons and pulled all the weeds in the garden standing instead of kneeling down on Saturday.
