For the last month or so we’ve had some big ass bird setting up shop in the pine tree that overhangs our driveway. It’s been making a horrible mess, and until yesterday I never had seen the culprit. I scrubbed the driveway yesterday, the first pic is one days worth. Then a couple of the offender. I believe a Blue Heron?

No great camera shots, just screen captures from Ring Infrared Video. This is just one of several critters that regularly stroll through as if they own the place, but none are making property tax payments. This one will be trapped and relocated soon.

Apparently the bird is on to me and my fake owl. Yesterday sitting in the tree while the owl was screeching away right below it.

The kitty making its rounds last night. Apparently they know or can smell that there no other animals to fear around my place.

I don’t regularly look at the footage from our trail camera, but today I was checking it out for some other things and saw these Eagles from last month. I’m surprised there were so many other birds around while they were feasting

In our area, most animals cannot be trapped and relocated. I asked about some pesky beavers and even took some groundhogs to a local reservoir but the Animal cops told me I wasn't allowed to do that. They told me I could trap them and shoot them, but not relocate them!

But we love our possums. They eat ticks, and are really very clean and friendly. My kids used to name them as they watched them on the front porch.

Arkansas classifies beaver, coyote, muskrat, nutria, opossum, raccoon, squirrel, striped skunk, and nongame wildlife other than migratory birds, bats, and endangered species as nuisance wildlife. They can be trapped and released outside city limits anytime. Gives the property owner a Do-It-Yourself Nuisance Wildlife Solution.

What's really disturbing Is a state law that says it's illegal to kill native snakes, including venomous snakes, unless they pose a threat to people or property.

Don't try that in NY State, because only licensed wildlife relocaters can trap/release nuisance animals. About 15 years ago, it cost me almost a grand to have a female groundhog and two babies relocated to a nearby nature preserve. Said preserve has a five-star hotel on the grounds, and my DW and I could have spent a weekend there for less than it cost to legally get rid of the critters.....

Ouch!!....that's expensive. Heck, none of the rural communities in my area even have Animal Control Services. I was faced with similar restrictions when I lived SE Michigan Cities.

Perched above the sign just below the ring camera is what I think is a Thrush. It started coming underneath the carport to that spot last summer. Think it was attracted by the smell of dead bugs and their carcasses after being zapped by my bug zapper. It hasn't been around for months. I was afraid it had been a victim of the stray cats. It's nice to see it's a survivor.

most likely a carolina wren. They are very comfortable around people/buildings. i have a pair that tries to nest in my extension cord wraps every spring.

Does he say "tea kettle, tea kettle, tea kettle" or "cheesburger, cheeseburger.." If so definitely carolina wren.

Brown Creeper, a fun little bird that pecks bugs out from the bark in a tree. they start at the base of the tree and work their way up, then drop back to the bottom and start over. The 1st pic is a fun example of their camouflage

Thanks! Looks pretty much like what's in your link. The ring video hasn't captured any noticeable sounds.
