Late Blue Hour moon. Just by coincidence the last time I decided to grab a quick shot it was exactly a month ago. Same moon phase with a slightly different orientation.

That's the hardest part with them in either case. Finding one that keeps still long enough to get a bead on...

You are really having a good time with the MkII. Nice feather detail on the thigh meat.

That's a nice shot. Friend at work would go crazy over that one. He is big into ducks and the Pintail is his favorite.

Ok guys I tried my first time lapse. Took 1 photo every 30 seconds for 2 hours. At 24 fps video it creates a very short 10 second video clip. This is meant to be part of a longer video and this is just one scene but wanted to show you guys. Maybe I will start a separate thread if you think it would be more appropriate.

They certainly like tall buildings in the UAE...
Looks like the Millennium Falcon is docked to the building on the left. Is that a nightclub or restaurant? Very cool time lapse work. Well done.

Cool shot, DC. Is that a private home on the far shore? I take it they never expect the water level to rise much above its current level despite the tall levee in the background.

Mark, that's a marina. It's about 15-feet above the "normal" water level. We had flooding last spring and in 2013, that covered some of the roads that you and I road on, but did not reach the marina. We'd be in big trouble if water level got to the top of that dam. A breach and Denver would be under water. In fact, this was built primarily as a flood control dam to protect Denver. It's a back up water source, but not a primary.
