Russ towing Ham the entire time. Merc knew they lacked pace, therefore Russ didn't get to follow Lewis once.

Merc isn't just suffering from porpoising. Toto said FP3 they managed to get porpoising somewhat under control. Merc engines look to be down and they need work in suspension area as well. This won't be a quick fix.

I'm thinking it's a Ferrari 1-2 tomorrow, the f1-75 is so superior to every car right now, potentially 0.123 faster than the redbull, and sainz is pretty much right there 0.006 slower than max which is nothing. I'm pretty sure max won't be able to hold back sainz especially since the Ferrari is 1 tenth faster and it'll be a Ferrari 1-2.



Haas holy moly good job Haas, and Merc looked pretty bad but every giant has to fall at some point. And man Aston martin may look the best but they seem to drive like crap.

The Merc is 5-6 tenths up on the Haas in terms of sheer pace that's unlikely to happen.


But what's likely to happen is max getting taken down by sainz and Ferrari getting a 1-2. Max was only 0.006 faster than sainz which is essentially noting, and Ferrari has a 0.123 second raw pace advantage.

Yup me too, glad Ferrari is back, and hopefully for legitimate reasons (they better not be burning oil again).

Free practice is always not a good reflection of the race but yeah we will see. It does look like the field is alot closer.

Maybe a couple more races till Merc actually dials in the w13. Overall it'll be a really good season if cars can follow closely and there are 3 teams in it for the title battle.
