Because I didn't know when we would be playing golf again, I didn't buy my custom golf balls for the season. I'm making up for that now by ordering 2 dozen to back up my leftovers from last season.

Well I wanted to hear how the local fire department was doing with the current wildfire season (and the road closure to town) so I bought this.

Hoping to finally get my damn phone out of the cup-holder that it doesn't quite fit in (slim rubber case).

Seems to be pretty strong, hope it doesn't rattle against the dash.

I have one of these, I liked it a lot and it gives a very solid hold. The only thing I don't like is that you have a thin metal piece you put inside your phone case for it to work. 1. I don't use a case on my phone and 2. I had worries of this causing issues and overheating when using wireless chargers.

Mine came with 3 thin metal pieces; a rectangle without adhesive, one with adhesive, and a circle with adhesive.

I've since had a chance to drive the car with this on, and it works fantastic, some of the best money I've spent.

I had V1 Gen 1 for many years (did 2-3 updates). I recently sold it and purchased Uniden R7. After 2 weeks I was not a big fan - very (cheap) plastic look + pretty noisy. Returned the R7 and purchased Gen 2. Unfortunately FedEx took an extra 3 days to deliver it so I was unable to test it during my 300 mile weekend trip.

Based the the RD forum the Gen 2 is a big improvement over Gen 1. I received -2006 serial so hopefully they fixed all the early issues with power and screen.

Found this Randenso visor radar detector mount. No more suction cup issues. Mounted the clip to the far right of the sun visor. The detector is in same general area as I had it before, to the left of the mirror high up. My Escort Solo (no wires) slides on & off easy for when I park. Very happy I found the thing.

Glad I dont live in a state where radars detectors are illegal. Even if I did, my radar detector isn't detectable buy radar detector detectors...... I said detector alot.
