Is the F36 EOP still 6/2021? It has been completely removed from BMWUSA.com, both from model section and build your own section.

Guess: Lies a bit lower than a G05, a bit wider and nearly the same length.

The general rule for adding a body style is that if it doesn't happen by the LCI, it won't happen at all. The G81 is testing now for release at G20/G21/G80 LCI time. Could a G86 technically start testing as late as next year for release at G22/G23/G26/G82/G83 LCI time? Yes, but there's not a single hint yet that it will. The G81 snuck up on us though, so a G86 could theoretically do the same. Don't bet on it, but maybe say a few words to car gods if you wish for this M4 Gran Coupe to be more than some auto journo's click-bait. |

The carbuzz story also said "manual transmission", and my first reaction was "unlikely". In reality, I would choose anything with a manual. If there were no manual anywhere, I would keep my 340 until they had to bury me in it.

More info on i4? iX revealed nov 11th?
Have you heard anything more new on the i4?
Also according to this source, the iX will be revealed (i)next November 11th. Do you know if that is true? https://electricvehicleweb.in/bmw-in...mming-windows/ |

I never did this before, but this time around I'd like to take a victory lap for the iX. It's been the toughest one in more than seven years of my "hobby" to gather good information about, and I'm happy I didn't let you all down.

In fact, some engines may soon be phased out. For example, there are signs that the N63 won’t be around long enough to be hybridized. Instead, the upcoming electrified S63 (which will get a name change to S68) could be the only V8 for the next generation, while everything below might be a B58 (or perhaps S58) hybrid. This is not yet confirmed, however. |

My strong suspicion is iX sits on this newly evolved CLAR variant, and that this will be the case for all new BMW products (above the 1 and 2 families) for the foreseeable future. This is consistent with BMW’s oft stated strategy of using one platform for everything. Furthermore, if/when this changes, we’ll hear endless hyperbole about a new EV only architecture that will be an obvious departure from legacy ones. |
