I guess I wasn't clear with my OP....
This was the second date. I wan't crying about the $500 I spent. I was just stating a fact that the restaurant was more expensive than we both initially thought...She even suggested to go to another restaurant but I decided to stay because I was too hungry to walk around to find another one. This was a lesson for me to Google the restaurant before trying it the first time... This is it...nothing more or less... Also, hey how often you get to have dinner in a 5 star restaurant with 5 star girl in your life Last edited by mylydiamy; 11-08-2013 at 03:08 PM.. |

You could have had the tasting menu, with wine and sake parings for $170, more if you wanted some of the special stuff. Still would have been less than $500.

Expensive, yes but not for this city and certainly not for world class food. My wife and I are huge foodies so there aren't too many surprises in regards to price.
I blew $19xx in June at Masa for my wife and I and don't regret a penny of it. |
