My issue is that i lose energy/get upset over things all the time. It's one of my major "flaws" since I like to be, when I can, a perfectionist. I don't like making mistakes, nor do I like causing harm to others. This ends up stressing me out all the time. Quote:
But yeah, I didn't open it to see if they're dirty etc, but they didn't look glossy clean from the box, that's for sure lol Well, i didn't directly pay for it...they took quite a bit of money when we got the car...

Immature buyer...refund and move on. In life we go around with two pockets (one to gain, and one to lose). This time you will lose $45 bit you'll gain peace of mind, learned from your mistake (home return address).
Take it easy, these things happen...it's an experience in which we all learn from and that's what makes this community so strong.

On topic, I know the easy answer is to just refund him, but this jackass really needs to learn a lesson. I wouldn't give him the money, let Paypal work it out, and ignore the crap you are getting from him. He is the one that is wrong here, no matter how you look at it, so you shouldn't be stressing at all, it's all his fault. If it were me, I would gladly have him come over, and when I go to the door he would be greeted with the end of a 12 gauge barrel to the head. I would seriously never give out your personal information to anyone you don't know. There is no reason for the buyer of a $45 item to have your cell phone number and for safety your home address should not be listed as the return address. Even the work address is too close but not dealing with these types of things I don't know what your options are. |

if anyone dared come here...security! lol Quote:
btw, no one said if the texts I sent him were harassment or not. I don't think they are, but I'm curious... I don't have a 12 gauge, but I do have a Glock.... registered and licensed to own firearms woot woot, only in America :P Quote:
Okay I won't throw all of you out.... but I will state that it's being sold As-is no returns If someone states sold as-is no returns, can a chargeback/dispute still be filed?? I mean, I know it can be filed, but would it have any merit?

I don't think the texts you sent him were harrassment, as you were just trying to understand what he wanted and he was unwilling to be civilized and speak like a sane human being.

He has 2 posts? I would guess this is a scam. He has you send him the items, then tries to intimidate you and get the money back. Then he will never send the items and resell them. If he goes around on enough boards doing it, he can make some money.

Personally, if he were to send me messages like this, I would file a police report. This guy clearly has issues. You have all of his information, and proof that you were willing to settle the issue.

I'd just refund it and get it over with. Even just starting a thread about it and following up on them would be too much effort for me.
I'd just refund it and move on. Or meet in person and exchange goods/cash.....probably not the smartest thing, but would like to see the guy in person after this. BTW, what did you end up sending? |

Do you even know for sure it if is a faulty/wrong product? I mean for all we know it could be the right thing, and he is just insane and love to create chaos.
Be careful!

didn't read all replies... but main thing is this: Guy you sold to is insane. He's been threatening you, so you should file a police report so that it is on-file in case anything happens. It's always good to have it documented somewhere official to "watch your own back."
as a side note... KBBQ or Ramen. let's go. lol

Total pain but even a post office box would help protect your personal information. The post office may have options beside a PO box tool If you have security at work that is not a bad option.

I honestly don't think it's a grown man, I think it's some punk kid with the typical e-peen complex.
Either way, normal people don't act like this.
