I raced a Turbo Tuner 335i Coupe with a manual tranny, with my PROceded 335i sedan with an auto tranny.
I had about 50-60 pounds more weight in my car.
I pulled on the TT 335i each and every time we raced (we did like 8 or so runs).
The video is on Streetfire. We even put one of the races up from a roll where the TT 335i Coupe jumped the honks and pulled 1/2-3/4 car lengths.
I reeled him in and started to pull away.

And that was with Version 1.2 software in the PROcede.
The PROcede now has Version 1.4 and it makes 3 more HP and 9 more lbs-ft of torque to the wheels and that's just at the peak. There are areas in the rev range where the v1.4 software makes 10+ HP and 10+ tq more. So my PROceded 335i is even faster now than it was in those runs.
The Turbo Tuner just doesn't make as much power, period. Good product for the money, but not as much power.

Here's the post and the complete story:

Looks like the same lot that "Will" did his runs on.
That might be stock for stock.
But again, it's clear to me that the driver's in these videos aren't
paired up well.
They need to do these runs with equal drivers in both cars.

Plus, as pointed out before, doing runs from a dig brings too much driver ability into the equation.
Do the runs from a roll that eliminates almost all driver skill (unless the driver shifts as slow as Miss Daisy) and showcases the cars power/gearing much better that way.

I dont know about the roll thing, because the torque in the 335i is gonna have more pull than that in the M5 bc of the turbos and torque difference. Also the 335i is lighter.

Yes that was the same runs, but it was me playing with the M5 guys in auto to get their clutches warmed up for the challenge which was from 0-100kmh from a dig, their challenge not mine, remember also that I was racing their cars straight whilst they were alternating cars.
Stock for Stock? Read the thread, mine is Eurobahn Turbo Tuner, without it I had no chance testing against my own M5.
The rolling start you talked about would be this one?

1 We drove the 30 km to my choice of test track and I ensured that their cars were very hot when we got there. The M5 hates the heat, it was over 35 celcius today.
2 The idiots had full tanks I had almost no fuel
3 They filled up with Special which is 93 octane and mine was with Super 98 octane.
4 The red car had shitty tires so no traction
5 The black car's clutch is not great.
6 Both cars main problems was into 2nd gear when their tires screeched like a wounded cat.
7 I allowed them to beat me once each whilst I drove in Auto mode just to get their cars a little warmer.
8 They are both arabs and in there early twenties so burning rubber comes as second nature to them and they think it means fast.
9 I am older and know their cars so well as I am leader of their M5 club.
10 Once the above points were in place it was a walk in the park for me, they couldn't match me from the dig as my car is new and lighter and with the Turbo Tuner pushing out 346 bhp. I also had a lot of practice on that track against my own M5 so knew the outcome before we got there.
Bit of experience paid off. The difference with the Turbo Tuner is incredible I look forward to a race against the procede.
11 I don't like being accused of telling lies, I bought the 335i cos I knew its potential was massive, this is my first kill and there will be many more to come. Please don't piss me off cos I can be a little
Will

Cool cool. I guess I can understand the outcome if they had all these disadvantages on them with the heat, 98 octane you had, bad clutch etc.

But tell me, whats the point of racing them if it was set up to be handicapped for the other racers? You probably would have still won if you didn't have all those advantages, but with the scenario you just gave me its like "hey 1 legged grandma, I'll race you to the store with my new-er two legs". Good kill, and one that would have been a kill regardless, but with the handicaps the multiple car lengths you pulled on them means moot to me.

Since when has a race been about the car only?
Does the Ferrari win all races in the Formula 1?

LOL, the 335 does not kill, but it is VERY fast...
Still, logically stock E39 M5 and stock 335; the M5 should (and will) win.

Best regards,

CSL

Remember this Ryan?

I know the 4th shift is not breaking traction, but I belive the 2-3 shift is. Anyway I am just avoiding the fact that the clutch is begining to wear....let me live in my lie

Just took them up on the challenge and kicked their butts, sorry NOT
