You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

For me the worst part about finals week is trying to sell your books. Just today I turned in about $200's worth of books and they gave me $40. It's like their goal in life is to rip off college students. I think I would have gotten more money for my college books by setting them on fire and posting the video to YouTube. That's definitely more fun.

Selling books back to the bookstore is retarded. Textbooks.com and craigslist is a whole lot better.

Thermo is a shitty course... I have no idea how did I pass thermo 1 and 2. I can't remember anything from these 2 courses taking diff equations next semester if i pass matrix operations.. test due tomorrow.

Diff eq. isnt very hard but u should have lin. algebra covered bc if u dont, itll be like taking 2 courses

I spend <$100 on books per semester, usually just ebay the paperback sri lanka not FS in US editions for 1/4 cost of hardcovers here.

Used to download them but reading from a screen that way is a pita for me. If I had access to a free printer though...

Finals do blow, but I never understood why people pull all-nighters studying for them. All my friends tell me how they didn't get any sleep, but studies show that when you get a good nights sleep you end up doing better on a test than studying through the night. It's not like I'm taking easy classes either...

I'll take an hour night of sleep and 40hrs of study for a test over 46 hours and 2 hours of sleep the night before. Sleep > studying, otherwise you arent able to process what your reading and commit to memory.

I'm the opposite. For the SAT, I pulled 2 all-nighters in a row, only studied the math section, and scored a 1360/2070 (670 reading, 690 math, 710 writing).

And regarding my finals... I raped that shit like Lawrence Taylor. Now I'm just waiting for my adderall to wear off so I can begin my hibernation.

I've never had to pull an all-nighter (yet). The latest I ever stayed up studying was like 3am back in high school. But everything you said is truth. Sleep FTW.

i've never understood why people break their fucking necks to do absolutely perfectly on finals unless they fucked off the entire semester. i think it's almost a bragging thing amongst people to see who suffered the most come finals time. i would study for a few hours, review notes, read the critical stuff, sleep a full night, and get it done with no cocaine or adderall involved. your grades really aren't going to mean squat after college anyway. the old adage 'not the grades you make, it's the hands you shake' is more relevant now than ever.

FWIW i graduated with a 3.6 and always did the bare minimum.
