A stock sportsbike should be able to cover the 1/4mile in low tens and should be doing 140+mph at that point. Though eventually the car will catch up as the bike's are limited to 300km/h.

The motorcycle press seems to be in love with the S1000RR at the moment, it may not be an R1 in terms of the overall motorcycle market but it's undeniably huge for BMW. There was a time when their performance bikes were legendary but that was a looong time ago. At one point in time they made the world's fastest bike, but building the world's more powerful liter bike isn't too bad.
