You have a point there, but I still think it may simply due to the fact that it will be his first race back and people will be curious. However, with Spa's proximity to Germany, I'll bet you a quarter it sells out.

Schumacher will give the other drivers a run for their money! I bet within this 7 races, he'll have Pole victories at least once!

I'm gonna laugh when he Shumi looses (I will also die a bit inside). Similarly to how I laughed and died when Farve played for the Jets, or how Lance Armstrong came in 3rd.

Yea, I think we may be in for a disappointment, not only has he been out of the "circuit", training and gotten older but also the F1 he´s going to be driving is distinctly different in many respects to the last one he rode in 2006, they even still had stability control then. Not to mention the fact that the current Ferrari sucks!!!!! On the other hand, if he produces an unlikely victory or two during the remainder of the year, he will be hailed as the absolute hero of all times. Perhaps, arguably, he is.

Many of you may know due to the testing ban, Ferrari cannot permit Michael to practice in a F60. Currently he is practicing at the Mugello circuit in a '07 F2007. I just read Ferrari asked permission to let Michael practice in a F60. He is also using the simulator to get used to the new steering wheel and controls.

How did FIA favored the rest of the team by changing the tire regulation? By letting both tires they created a healthy competion. Too bad Ferrari had a long term contract... |

Hopefully the FOTA will let him test the F60. Do any of you here feel it would be fair to let the other teams test their cars if Ferrari gets to?

This is huge gamble for everyone. Just think what could happen if he crashes (which is honestly a real possibility given all of the factors - age, rust, unfamiliarity with car, pressure, etc). Everyone likes to imagine the old warrior coming ouit of retirement to win again, but this isn't golf, football or basketball. There's more at risk than just some points.
