Two toddlers completely fills a second row, so then you need a third row for taking an occasional friend or grandparent(s) somewhere with them. Also need a large trunk for overnight trips, bulky stroller, etc.

Yeah HUGE difference between two and three kids. With the two, we do just fine with X3 and now Stelvio, no need for larger. But add a third and it changes everything.

Agreed, three kids mess everythi.... oh, I mean the blessing of the third child is when we needed to trade our E34 wagon in for a Mazda MPV. Good luck finding a motel that sleeps five. Can't sit at a four top table, need the big one. Disneyland rides split everyone up.
