^This, my three old X is starting to act wonky also, plus decreased battery life. The new battery, chip, cameras and occasionally 5G will be nice upgrades for me.

Not expecting anything more, just pointing out where we are at.

Same with tech in cars, I find it funny when people say things like wow the tech in the G80 is amazing and makes the F80 outdated. There hasnt been any new tech in cars since the navigation screen and bluetooth. Carplay and android auto have also made in car tech useless.

My friend is an engineer for apple and gets 15% off, so I'll be getting the 12 pro to replace my 8 plus that I've had for 3 years. The battery is starting to crap out and my charging port/earbud port is going out. It's time for an upgrade for me. Hopefully it'll last me at least another 3 years.

🤦*♂️ sometimes I wish technology takes a pause on shit like phones, cars, etc. for a few years. You can't own anything new for more than a few months months before the next thing comes out.

I just got my latest iPhone and now it will be old.....

Just got my dream car, an F82 2 years ago and now the new G shits on it with more power AWD blah blah blah....

When was the last time you cleaned it? When my charging starts to have issues, I get out my dental pick, used toothbrush, and a bit of rubbing alcohol. Even with a case, those ports can get full of pocket lint and other unmentionables.

Same, I have an Xs and will eventually upgrade to a 12 or 12plus. My upgrade isn't due till next March, so I'll take it easy. Maybe still hold onto the Xs for a few months, just to see what kinks they get worked out of this 1st gen.

I tried cleaning it with a toothpick and used a computer duster liberally. I could try again, but I'm already looking forward to my new phone lol

I keep going back and forth. I have an X and if they give me $450 for it then it might be worth it, but otherwise my phone is running perfectly and I really don't have a reason to upgrade it.
