It's a part of the entire Marko-Horner gestalt. Max has been driving super-aggressively for his entire career and Sir Lewis fought back. Just as the vast majority of the F1 racers said, it was a racing incident.

Max MAY learn from this but it is doubtful. The RBR propaganda system and the shielding of Max from responsibility by his team handlers will only make it worse.

Most complete analysis I have seen:

Even shows examples replay footage of Sainz and Grojean crashing at that corner on a lap 1 that was deemed a racing incident and compares it.

Someone needs to show Horner all the passes and crashes at that very corner that no one dears to ever pass on.

I will confirm from myself that Max is the better driver currently than HAM and Lewis is doing everything in his power in a disparaging manner to keep himself in the hunt.

Again, they never said it was wholly one drivers fault, which means some of the fault goes to Max, just more so to Lewis.

If Lewis was determined wholly at fault, then no doubt the penalty would have been harsher.

Just saw this, if already posted please ignore. Impact was just insane, thank goodness he’s alright and the safety of these cars is unbelievable. I feel ashamed for ever complaining about the HALO system a few years back. I was dead wrong and it was a great addition to the vehicles. Here’s to more great safe racing in 2021!

Wasn't much of a Palmer fan when he was racing.... but he now commentates on the BBC Sport website (App and radio 5 live)) along with a co-commentator and a couple of other contributors and they are the best.
If you can VPN the UK and access the BBC Sport website for their F1 commentary its worth a listen next race.
They pretty much called it a racing incident from the get go.
