These guys are tearing into random girls because they think they look cool degrading women to other guys who are doing the same. Add the anonymity of the Internet and it's a free for all. I don't see much wrong with most of the women they post that they choose to abuse on here. I also highly doubt that they're getting as much play as they claim. It's also not fair to generalize entirely since there are a couple of guys that do seem to have respect for women.

I don't really see posters going around calling the female posters hot just because they're here. I think there are just so few of us that it might seem that way but I think the appeal is simply "oh look a girl that likes cars". But like I said previously, I think there's way more disrespect than "omg she's hot" around these parts as least directed towards me.
